What the admin is trying to explain is that he is not forcing anyone to pay for Hood registration. He is simply explaining how things work in this space because many people may not fully understand that crypto involves risk.
Just like betting, where someone can stake ₦100 hoping to win ₦1 million but still lose the bet, you cannot blame the betting platform simply because the outcome did not go as expected. The same principle applies here: there is no guaranteed profit, and there is always some level of risk involved.
Many people join crypto airdrops expecting to receive free money, but crypto is ultimately a risk-based and investment-related space. You cannot expect to receive $200 for free without accepting that there may be certain requirements, risks, or sacrifices involved.
That is all the admin is trying to remind everyone: understand the space you are participating in and the risks that come with it.
Also, before calling a project a scam, make sure you have reliable evidence or a credible source to support that claim. In this case, the registration requirement was already clearly stated in the Hood roadmap from the beginning.

The Vice Chancellor of Sa'adu Zungur University, Professor Fatimah Tahir, has expressed deep sympathy to the families of Dr. Hamma Mohammed, Faculty of Education, Malam Bello Adamu Yakubu of Physiology Department and Malam Mukhtar Mansur, Faculty of Arts, whose residence in the Senior Staff Quarters at Main Campus Gadau, was ravaged by fire Yesterday Saturday 26th April, 2025. The fire incident, which occurred around 2:00pm, resulted in the loss of personal belongings and properties, but fortunately, no lives were lost and no physical injuries were sustained.
