PAWS WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR THE AIRDROP IN THIS PROJECT?

WHAT'S NEXT PAWS?

We've had a busy two months, and yall have been actively farming PAWS by completing various tasks.

We want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continued participation!

Below, a little Q&A from the PAWS team!

Q: Wen TGE?

A: The PAWS project is transitioning into a new phase in preparation for the TGE. This process takes time, as we want to ensure everything is in perfect shape! (Also, this question may have already been answered in our previous posts/pics

Q: What are the criteria for the airdrop?

A: A major update is coming soon that will specifically affect the PAWS website, where we will outline the criteria for receiving airdrops.

For now, we can confirm that one of the mandatory criteria will be the number of quests completed by the user (not all of them), which is why we are continuing to release new quests.

Q: Why am I seeing coal on my screen instead of PAWS? 😡

A: We understand that many of you aren't happy about turning your PAWS into coal, but that's just the way it is for now.

The Grinch has played a key role in helping us separate active users from passive ones, which allows us to increase rewards for those who are actively participating!

Q: How many PAWS tokens will I receive if I have 100k PAWS points?

PAWS points will be converted into project tokens based on several factors, such as:

• Number of quests completed;
• Participation in projects listed on the PAWS Roadmap;
• Number of ACTIVE referrals;
• Voting medals;
And more...

Each of these metrics will have a different impact on the final amount of tokens available for claiming!

Here are some important factors to consider:

Pawn Structure
1.Connected Pawns,Ensure that your pawns are connected, as isolated pawns can be weak and difficult to defend.
2.Passed Pawns,Create and advance passed pawns (pawns with no opposing pawns to block their path to promotion) to gain an advantage.
3.Doubled Pawns,Avoid having doubled pawns (two pawns of the same color on the same file) as they can be a liability.

#Pawn Moves
1. **Center Control**: Use pawns to control the center of the board (the d4, d5, e4, and e5 squares), which is crucial for launching attacks and defending your position.
2. **Pawn Breaks**: Execute pawn breaks to open up lines and create opportunities for your pieces to enter the opponent's territory.
3. **Pawn Chains**: Maintain strong pawn chains (a diagonal chain of pawns) to support each other and control key squares.

### Positional Play
1. **Pawn Islands**: Aim to have fewer pawn islands (groups of pawns separated by files with no pawns) as they are easier to defend.
2. **Passed Pawn Promotion**: Always look for opportunities to promote a passed pawn to a more powerful piece, usually a queen.
3. **Pawn Sacrifice**: Consider sacrificing pawns if it leads to a significant positional or material advantage.

### Endgame Considerations
1. **King Safety**: Use pawns to protect your king, especially in the endgame.
2. **Active Pawns**: Keep your pawns active and mobile in the endgame to maximize their potential.

Understanding these principles can help you make better strategic decisions regarding pawns in chess. If you have any specific questions or scenarios you'd like to discuss, feel free to ask!
