Born on October 14, 1992, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, Ahmed Musa had humble beginnings. He grew up in a close-knit family and discovered his love for football at a young age. His early years were marked by playing street football with friends, where his speed and skill quickly set him apart.

Musa's formal football journey began when he joined the Aminchi Football Academy in Jos. His talent didn't go unnoticed, and soon he was scouted by GBS Football Academy. Musa's exceptional performance at GBS earned him a loan move to JUTH FC in 2008. There, he made his professional debut and showcased his prowess on the field, scoring goals and creating opportunities.

In 2009, Musa's career took a significant turn when he joined Kano Pillars on loan. He made an immediate impact, setting a record in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for the highest number of goals scored in a single season, with 18 goals. His incredible performance helped Kano Pillars secure a top-four finish in the league.

Musa's talent soon caught the attention of international clubs. In 2010, he signed with the Dutch club VVV-Venlo. His move to Europe marked a new chapter in his career. Although he faced initial challenges adapting to a new environment and style of play, Musa's determination and hard work paid off. He became an integral part of the team, scoring crucial goals and helping VVV-Venlo avoid relegation.

His impressive performances in the Dutch league did not go unnoticed, and in 2012, Musa secured a move to CSKA Moscow. Joining the Russian giants was a significant milestone in his career. At CSKA, Musa continued to excel, becoming a key player and winning multiple league titles and domestic cups. His speed, agility, and goal-scoring ability made him a fan favorite and a nightmare for defenders.

Musa's international career with the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, was equally remarkable. He made his senior debut in 2010 and quickly became a crucial part of the squad. Musa represented Nigeria in several major tournaments, including the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the FIFA World Cup. His standout performance came in the 2014 World Cup, where he scored twice against Argentina, becoming the first Nigerian to score multiple goals in a World Cup match.

In 2016, Musa made a high-profile move to the English Premier League, signing with Leicester City. Although his time in England was mixed, he contributed to Leicester's memorable 2016-2017 Champions League campaign, where they reached the quarter-finals. Musa later returned to CSKA Moscow on loan before moving back to Nigeria to rejoin Kano Pillars in 2021, a decision driven by his desire to give back to his home country and inspire the next generation of footballers.
